They're like party gift shit. Stuff like a ring that makes a wife look nice and dolled up for a fancy party. Or glasses that let you focus on reading. Or nail polish that gives you french tips for 24 hours.
As for what I determined, there were not only witnesses to the summoning and event, but there was someone who was purposely controlling the creature. As I had to keep my distance, I could not make it out for certain, but... I believe there may have been a girl on top of the monster, ordering it.
I think she also got shot down by one of the witnesses. Someone who was using fireballs.
